Because for me was same 'not activated' at first run. So here's my method.

Connect cable to your car, switch on igniton. Open 'Options', set your com port test it, and save if it's ok. Open 'OBD-II', you should be see it's everything fine, press ok.

Open 'About', and should be activated. Close 'About' everything works. I hope I helped.
